Vision

The specificity of the customer's business is cloning popular games: creating new entertainment applications based on them. Sweet Cats is a Match 3 game based on the popular Candy Crush.

The player's task is to complete the level in a finite number of steps. The level is considered passed when the field is empty: there are no tiles with cats left on it. By removing a row of cats, the player gets points: the more points, the more stars. Stars increase the player's rating among friends.

About the product

Sweet Cats is a mobile casual match 3 game for iOS, Android devices and social networks. The player arranges 3+ cats of the same color in a row and removes them from the playing field.

The game was developed in collaboration with Black Wing Foundation.

The game was developed «from idea to release» in 75 days.

Over this time:
•‎ Redesigned the classic match 3 game Candy Crush. Replaced candies with cats that need to be removed from the field.
•‎ Added daily bonuses.
•‎ Added the ability to invite friends.
•‎ Added local currency for buying boosters and lives.
•‎ Prepared the game for launch on social networks: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki.
•‎ We made the game cross-platform: it runs on mobile devices and on social networks.

Game mechanics

Purchased boosters
•‎ Dog. Cleans the bottom row of cats.
•‎ Dog x2. Removes the bottom two rows of cats.
•‎ Mixer. Shuffles the cats on the field.
•‎ Sucker. Removes 9 cats from the field.
•‎ Suction cup x2. Removes 18 cats from the field
Basic boosters
•‎ Lightning. Removes a row of cats diagonally or horizontally.
•‎ Bomb. Removes 9 cats of the same color around him.
•‎ Rainbow. All cats of the same color disappear from the field.
Daily bonuses
Motivate players to log into the game every day.
In-game soft currency
