Vision

ULTIMATE FISHING is an MMO fishing simulator game with real-to-life graphics on Unity.

In 2016, GamoVation suggested creating a fishing simulator from scratch on a partnership basis. It was initially planned to launch the game in WebGL browsers and smartphones.

The first WebGL version was created after 9 months. Later the game was released for mobile platforms only.

Target audience of the game: men aged 40+ .

The essence of the game is to fish in the accessible location, accumulate star points to discover new game worlds.

ULTIMATE FISHING offers 12 game locations from the real world, each with different parameters in terms of:
• type of water - salt / fresh;
• fishing equipment;
• species of fish;
• background.

The same fishing equipment cannot be used in different locations. To catch rare fish, a strong rod, line, and hook, and special bait are required.

To keep players engaged in the game, it was planned to add new fishing areas and new species of fish weekly.

It took a total of 700 days to develop.

Over this time we
• Added achievements.
• Added a welcome bonus.
• Implemented the wheel of fortune.
• Translated the game into 16 languages.
• Prepared the game for the holiday sales.
• Implemented the "add to friends" feature.
• Excluded 80% of the wheel of fortune functionality.
• Implemented control using the keyboard and mouse.
• Created an admin panel for tracking marketing indicators.
• Made the game cross-platform for WebGL, Android and iOS.
• Introduced a clan system featuring clan achievements and a chat.
• Added bonuses for publishing a post on Facebook and inviting friends.
• Made sound effects for the game: sounds of water, fish biting, and splashing.
• Optimized loading speed and performance: 14 seconds of cold start on iPhone 5, 30 FPS.
• Introduced the admin panel that allows changing the game parameters without restarting the server.

We also added 12 locations with

• league tables sorted by country;

We also implemented an in-game chat with

Complementary feeding. For catching larger fish of each species.
Amplifier. Increases the power of fishing gear.
Animation
The goal in each location is to collect as many stars as possible to gain access to a new game world.
Stars are awarded for every fish caught. The larger the fish, the more stars the player gets.
Realistic animation with imitation of glittering water and fish, accompanied by sound effects, creates the feeling of fishing out in nature.

1 free spin is available daily, all subsequent ones can be purchased with in-game currency. The wheel of fortune replaces the store: every spin give the player a chance to get the equipment needed for the current location as well as
• fishing line;

• temporary licenses for fishing in premium areas.
